This includes
the same services that are involved in a traditional earth burial (i.e.: visitation with the body present and funeral service.) After the funeral service, the remains are taken to
the crematory instead of a cemetery. Burial of the cremated
remains are often held at a later date.

By definition,
a memorial service is a funeral service without the body present. Families may choose however, to
receive friends prior to the service.
Often photos and other memorabilia are displayed in the funeral
home to illustrate the life of the deceased.

This option
involves only family members who wish to view the deceased before cremation takes place. This takes place
within a 24 hour period and does not include any type of funeral service.

With direct
cremation, the deceased is transferred to the crematory as soon as all necessary permits and authorizations have
been signed and filed. There is no form of visitation or services.
In general, the cost of cremation is less than that of a
traditional burial. However, because families have so many options
with cremation, these costs can vary widely. Our pre-need
counselor or the funeral directors on staff, will provide an itemized
estimate for the selection you prefer.
