Andrea (Althaus) Zwack died Wednesday morning after a long fight with cancer. Andie was 70 years old.

Andie grew up in Dubuque. She graduated from Wahlert High in 1969 and from Clark College in 1973, She married Dan in 1975. Their loving marriage and true friendship started strong and continued to get stronger every year.

Andie and Dan raised two fine children. Drew lives in West Liberty and Joanna lives in Ft Collins. They and our two grandchildren are our real contribution to a better world. They have and will continue to do their parts.

 Andie did her part her entire life. Everyone who knew her loved our brown eyed girl. She was kind, generous, understanding, and loving. The world was a better place when she was in it.

According to Andie’s wishes, there will be a service for close family only. A Celebration of Life gathering will be scheduled at a later date for all those who wish to show their respects to our perfect Wife, Mom, Daughter, Sister, and friend.

In lieu of flowers, Andie requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Operation Head Start.
