Obituary for Connie L Baker (Beauchamp)
Connie L. Baker 65, died Monday, April 29, 2019. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 2, 2019 at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Pastor Jonathan Crawford officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 JFK Rd. and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Connie was born on February 2, 1954 in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Eldon and Irene (Wehrspann) Beauchamp. She graduated from Dubuque Senior high school in 1972 and worked at Regency Thermographers until it's closing in 2005. For the next three years she worked at Uelner Tool & Die and was currently employed at Rite Hite as an inventory planner. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Connie enjoyed spending time with her family, watching black and white movies, gardening, reading and spoiling her three dogs, Gus, Fritz and Runt.
Surviving are her son Jeff (Melissa) of Asbury; three grandsons Beau, Luke and Ryan; her sisters Susan Kelly of Bernard, IA and Lisa (Paul) Harrington of Fairport, IA.; her former husband Richard "Rick" Baker of Peosta, IA.; three aunts and several nieces and nephews.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Randy Beauchamp and her beloved dog Molly.
