On Saturday, September 3, 2022, Frank W. Maassen passed away peacefully in his home in Buckingham, Iowa at the age of 75.   

Frank will forever be remembered as a humble, hard-working man of great integrity and an admirable sense of humor. He extended his friendship and mentorship to countless people and was affectionately known as “Uncle Frank” by many. 

Frank is survived by his wife Pam, his children and their spouses (Frank Daniel and Elizabeth Maassen, Stephanie and David Lucas, Lani and Carlos Celis), and nine grandchildren. 

Graveside services were held on September 5, 2022 at Casper Creek Natural Cemetery in Galena, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Frank’s honor to the Lewy Body Dementia Association at www.lbda.org.
