Dear Family of Gerald Meyer,
I join with other caregivers who provided care, comfort, and support to Gerald during the time he made Stonehill Franciscan Services his home as I extend my deepest sympathy to all of you. I trust that all of you share great comfort knowing that in his passing you can celebrate many wonderful memories and stories of a life well-lived. It was a privilege to share time with Gerald. He shared many stories of his life experiences and his unique sense of teasing-humor was a delight. Gerald spoke often of his wife, Jeanne, and frequently would call out her name. She was present to him and lived in his heart. He shared with me the delight and joy he found in his family and looked forward with appreciation to your visits. He always had a story to share. God be with you all as you share his loss. May you know of the Lord's promise of eternal life and peace in His presence.
