Obituary for Heather Anne Stumpf

Heather Anne Stumpf, 50, of Dubuque died Tuesday, December 22, 2020 peacefully at home.
Heather was born on August 29, 1970 in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Daniel J. and Mary Ellen (Aird) Stumpf.
Heather was a graduate of Wahlert Catholic High School and the University of Northern Iowa, where she received a B.S. in Psychology and Sociology.
Heather loved spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She would do anything for them. She loved her nieces and nephews with her whole heart and was one of their biggest supporters. She was a proud mom to her two cats, Xena and Kenzie, whom she loved dearly. Although a Dubuque native, Heather lived in Kansas City, MO for the past 18 years which fueled her passion for the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals. Heather had a way of lighting up any room she walked into with her big smile and electrifying energy. She had a beautiful soul and was always there when you needed her most.
Those left to cherish her memories are her mother, Mary Ellen; siblings, Aaron (Jane) Stumpf of Cuba, MO, Nathan Stumpf, and Jessica (Francisco) Nava, both of Dubuque, IA; nieces and nephews, Mikayla, Cecilia, Antonio, and Gustavo Nava, Cheyenne and Summer Stumpf, Christian, Aizik, and Ethan Stumpf, and Sierra Roling; several aunts, uncles and cousins; her extended family Paula, Rena and Ryan Welu, and close friends turned family in the surrounding areas, Kansas City and New Jersey.
Heather is preceded in death by her father, Daniel. Her grandparents, Ralph and LaVonne (Hanson) Stumpf, Clem and Lorraine (Stecher) Aird, uncles Richard Carroll, Steve Stumpf and Tim Stumpf.
To make sure she gets the party she deserves, a celebration of life will be planned when we can all be together to share memories, smiles, tears and hugs!
