Jovan Anthony Torres, age 31, of Peosta died Sunday, February 2, 2020. Private family services will be held.
Jovan was born February 2, 1989 in Ft. Polk, LA, son of John Joseph and Lori (Gabel) Torres.
He enjoyed working on cars, helping others with their cars, playing video games with his son, Nolan and spending time with his nephew, Leon.
He is survived by his parents, John and Lori Torres of Peosta; a son, Nolan James Pregler-Torres of Davenport; three siblings, Jennifer Suzanne (Jaime Linn) Torres of Knoxville, TN, Angela Renee (Matthew) Riley of Claxton, TN and Devon DeJuan Torres of Peosta; nieces and nephews, Audriaunna Jaime and Adonis John Hummel; Brooke Alixandra, Isabella Grace, Mathew Lee II, and RaeAnn Louise Riley; and Leon Michael Torres; aunts and uncles, John (Coleen) Torres, Kimberly (Marco) Pollastri, Regina (Jeff) Risen and Edmund Strasser; and his two grandmothers, Anna Torres and Pauleeta Peck.
He was preceded in death by his two grandfathers, Juan Torres and Edmund Gabel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for Jovan's son, Nolan 's future.
