Lutgarda Damaso Tunque, 81, of Dubuque, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at home.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, June 5, at Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 John F. Kennedy Rd. The family kindly requests that current public health guidelines be observed. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2020, at Church of the Resurrection, 4300 Asbury Rd. The church kindly requests that all attendees practice social distancing and requests that masks be worn. Mass will be live-streamed and can be viewed on the Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Funeral Home Facebook page. Rev. Phil Gibbs will officiate. Interment will be in Linwood Cemetery. Lutgarda was born September 7, 1938 in the city of Morong, Philippines, the daughter of Isidro and Francisca (Delos Santos) Damaso. She married Nestor Tunque.
Lutgarda is survived by her husband, Nestor; her children, Leonor, Joel (Elenita), Neil (Concerna) and Sidney (Rosemarie); her daughter in law, Belinda; and her grandchildren, Mellissa Mae (Ron), Alyssa Meghan (Adam), Aldrin Neal, John Jobie, Jodie Grace, Brian, Nelrose, Neil Patrick, and Neildrin; and her great granddaughter, Aaliyah.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Nelson Tunque.
