The Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 JFK Road is entrusted with the arrangements.

Mary was born on November 23, 1928, in Dubuque, the daughter of Martin and Isabelle (Vollinger) Galvin. She married Robert Huber on 05/05/56.  He preceded her in death on July 24, 2007.

Mary was an active member of St. Anthony Catholic church, including volunteering at the school when her children were young, and leading  Bible studies for many years. Her Catholic faith was very important to her. Mary  and Bob loved to travel and went on excursions to Europe and Asia. Mary had many close friends and enjoyed bowling, golfing and playing bridge with them. Mary loved to play cards with her grandchildren. If the kids won a game, Mary would threaten to take them out of the will.  The kids still joke about that to this day.  Mary was an avid Packer and Cubs fan, even in their off years (which were many).

Mary is survived by her 3 children,  Janet Mackey, Susan Huber and John Huber (Leigh).  She has 11 grandchildren,  Allison (Nick), Lauren, Kelly (Kevin), Connor (Rae), Amanda,  Jacob (Carsen), Ben, Elizabeth, Taylor, Sydney and Cole, and 3 great-grandchildren, Aubrey, William, and Norah and 2 great grandsons on the way.

A special thank you to the Edencrest Assisted Living and Mercy Hospice House (both in Johnston IA) for providing Mary with exceptional care.
