Maxine V. Paar, 96, of Dubuque died Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Luther Manor.  Visitation will be 4 to 7 pm Wednesday, February 8 at the Egelhof, Siegert and Casper Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 Kennedy Road and from 9:15 to 10:15 am Thursday  at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.  Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Thursday,February 9 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.  Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.

Maxine was born January 7, 1927 in Delaware County, Iowa, daughter of Elizabeth Richter.

She was a charter member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Maxine is survived by three children, Ken (Prasai) Paar of Clovis, CA, Kevin (Sara) Paar of Dike, IA and Karla (Ron) Bell of Farley, IA; 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; in laws Bill Herrig, Arlene Reisen, Millie Paar, Bob (Sue) Paar, Loretta Paar and Pat Paar ; and a special friend, Carolyn Schmidt.

She was preceded in death by her husband Walter, daughter Kathy, mother Elizabeth, sister Kate and several in laws.
