Delia (Olsen) Gogg formerly of Clarkesville, Iowa where she was crowned Miss Melody during her high school years.

She was an excellent student and attended the University of Iowa School of Nursing.
While attending the university she met the charming sports star and love of her
life, Eddie Colbert. She was an avid Catholic. Dolly and Ed were married on October 27th, 1951 at The Little Brown Church in Nashua Iowa.

She worked for many years at Loras College Counselling Services as an Executive

volunteer for The American Cancer Society.

Her most fulfilling job was raising her seven children Shawn, Debbie, Paula,

Born an only child, of Norwegian descent, Dolly took special joy in raising her
large family and playing an active role in her children's lives. After her
retirement she served on the Dubuque County Foster Care Review Board and
wintered in Palm Springs.

Some of Dolly's favorite things included: flowers and gardening and being active in the Church. She was stylish and enjoyed fashion but her greatest love was taking care of children. She was "everyone's mother" and will be greatly missed by all.
