Obituary for Marcella Riesselman (Riesselman)
Marcella L. Riesselman, 67, of Dubuque died Friday, July 25, 2014 at Unity Point Health-Finley Hospital. In keeping with Marcella's wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral . The Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Marcella was born June 5, 1947 in Dubuque, daughter of Virgil and Eleanor (Lang) Riesselman. She graduated from Wahlert High School in 1965.
She worked as a secretary for UFCW Local #150 for many years. She then worked as the church secretary at St. John's Lutheran Church for several years.
Marcella enjoyed playing cards and dominos with her friends.
She is survived by 14 nieces and nephews, Connie and Bill Welter, Kim Link, Frankie Nigh, and Jackie Welter-Mayne; Donald, Sharon and Jeff Riesselman; Mike Riesselman and Debbie and Julie; Jo Moss, Brian Birch and Leisa Horn. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews and a sister in law, Mary Ann Riesselman.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Welter and Arlene Birch; and two brothers, Harold and Virgil Riesselman.
