Colleen P. Duffy, 61, of Dubuque, formerly of Pompano Beach, Florida, died Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Windsor Park Apartments. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2015 at St. Raphael's Cathedral with the Rev. Alan Dietzenbach officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Colleen was born on January 17, 1954 in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Patrick E. and Mary M. (Freund) Duffy. She attended special education programs in Dubuque and Florida.
Surviving are her sisters Jean (Karl) Kohnen, of Dubuque, IA, Kit (Raymond) Kengott, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Margaret (Steven) Canter of Buffalo Grove, IL; four nephews David (Sarah) Kohnen, Michael (Valerie) Kohnen, Daniel Kohnen and John Canter; three nieces; Laura (Don) Stanner, Sara (Rob) Hofer and Rachel Canter and her aunt, Lillian Freund.
Colleen was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Joan Ellen Duffy and Dr. Sister Mary Susan Duffy, RSM, M.D.
