Vicki Rohrssen, 62, of Dubuque died Friday, December 2, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 10 at the Egelhof, Siegert and Casper Westview Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 John F. Kennedy Road where visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Cedar Crest Cemetery, Jesup.
Vicki was born December 22, 1953, daughter of Kenneth and Donna (Gray) Rohrssen. She graduated from Dubuque Senior High in 1972 and attended Upper Iowa University and later Clarke College where she graduated with an Art degree in 1995. She was employed by Wal-Mart.
She enjoyed playing cards, knitting, crocheting and spending time with friends. For the past ten years she has been with the love of her life, Mike. They have enjoyed traveling together all over the United States including 2 weeks in Hawaii earlier this year. Vicki was a wonderful mother and grandmother and truly loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother, Donna Rohrssen of Cedar Rapids; two children, Nathan (Andrea Drinovsky) Rohrssen of Cedar Rapids and Stephanie Rohrssen of Dubuque; four grandchildren, Alex (Vinessa) and Allison Rohrssen and Messiah and D’Ahnni Armstrong; the love of her life, Mike Roling of Earlville; and three siblings, Dave (Judy) Rohrssen of Cedar Rapids, Ron (Becky Watts) Rohrssen of Cedar Rapids and Jim Rohrssen of Nicaragua.
She was preceded in death by her dad, and sister, Linda Sue.
