Condolence: Joanne; and Michael, Douglas, Patricia, Mary, and David. I am so sorry for your great loss. You have not been strangers to tragedy. Remember, through the pain that doesn't stop, that your kind, loving and merciful heavenly father, Jehovah, loves and treasures all of you, including those whom you have lost. He says this in John 3:16 and also says He wants to give you everlasting life. Both Douglas and your son and brother will likely be back in a resurrection. (John 5:28, 29) Here Jesus says that some gain everlasting life. God promises that there will be a new heavens and new earth where death, pain, suffering and sorrow will be done away with.
