Condolence From: Ellen Levy
Condolence: What a beautiful woman, inside and out! Virginia showed us how music can better our souls, inspire us, and connect us with each other. Her devotion to our daughter's musical education led to a decades-long friendship with our entire family. She showed us how the world of music leads to all other worlds and all people, and taught us how discipline refines and augments ability. It was an honor to watch her teach, and her legacy to us is her example of a full life, of commitment and joy, and of savoring the beauty of the world. We will miss her greatly. Ellen and Richard Levy and family

Condolence: David, Audrey and Debbie: I am so sorry to hear about your mother's death. She was a truly wonderful teacher, and as my first piano teacher, she set the standard that no other later teacher could ever meet. She made everything so fun, and I cherish the memories I have of that fun time in my childhood. In 2002, I had the pleasure of seeing her again at my father's memorial service. I have and always will, have a very special place in my heart for her. I send you all my deepest sympathies. Her death is also a loss to all who knew and loved her.

Condolence From: Robert & Cynthia Byrne
Condolence: We have so missed seeing Virginia and hearing her perform her lovely piano pieces. She was always intelligent, lovely and dignified, but still ready to show her vibrant sense of humor. We miss both her and John, who were such a big part of our lives for many years after we moved to Dubuque.

Condolence: I knew Virginia while she was at Bethany Home. My father Maurice Germain (Larry Foster) knew Virgina and had many nice visits. Dad having a 12 piece orchestra had Virginia loving music as she did they both seemed to love there visits. So I am sending this for my dad since he has passed in May, she will be missed along with her beautiful music.
