Condolence From: Maryn Lynn Neuhaus '76 & James Jarrard '78
Condolence: Don, Barak, Roxanne & Travis--How blessed you were to have Lauretta for so long. We consider ourselves fortunate to have known her and enjoyed her zest for life, for the arts, and her deep love for those closest to her these past 40 years. We knew her as a classmate in the 70's, a director, an actor, a fellow forensic team member, and eventual coach, and ML as a Loras communication colleague. There is a cherry vase in ML's office that Lauretta gave her when she retired that is filled with note cards Lauretta sent to the Mock Trial Team. Now we can go back again and read her kind words of encouragement and remember the voice that was much more demanding. Whenever the Ides of March rolls around, know that you are in our hearts.

Condolence: Lauretta was one of a kind! So much talent and energy. I got to know both Lauretta and Don when I participated in the Loras College Faculty & Staff melodramas! Lots of laughs and a wonderful couple to work with. Thank you Lauretta for your many years of tireless dedication to Loras College, Loras Players, and especially Loras Students. My sincere condolences to Don and family.

Condolence: To an old and dear friend, Don, and the family. Cedar Rapids was a long time ago, but we never forgot you. Carol left us five years ago, so I know the pain you are feeling, Don.

Condolence: I got to know Lauretta (and Don)through the Iowa Communication Association. She was a woman of great gifts, good humor, and an open-heart. The world is a better for her having been it. The ICA has lost another great leader.

Condolence: I knew Don and Lauretta through the Iowa Communication Association. My fondest memory is of a convention when they were the after banquet entertainment, reading "Love letters". it was a wonderful performance and seemed to capture and reflect so much of themselves in the performance. My condolences to Don and the family.

Condolence: My deepest sympathy to Don and the family in the loss of Lauretta "Mom". She was one of the great ones who impacted so many lives in the theater community, both educationally and personally. Thank you for sharing her with all of us. She will never be forgotten. And, now may God hold her in the palm of His hand for her work here on earth is finished. Rest peacefully, dear friend and have a few laughs with Robin Williams.
