Mary Jo and family, I have known you all a short time through my sister, Charlene. I wish it had been longer. John welcomed my mom and me to your family gatherings like we were an important part of the bunch. I so enjoyed singing the old songs with him and learning some new old songs from him. Just watching him enjoy his family all singing their parts of "12 Days of Christmas" was memorable. Too bad he had to wait for the 12th day to sing his part. We should have put him first so he could sing every part!! I like to think he's singing those old songs with my dad now. I'll play my guitar and sing along with them both when we all meet again. My prayers and thoughts are with you all. He loved you all so much.
