Condolences

Condolence From: Annie Wertz
Condolence: What a wonderful woman! Mary always had a smile and warm greeting whenever I encountered her. I do have memories of Arenz Shoes when I first moved to DBQ. Times change but wonderful people stay with us forever. May the love and memories you all share help to heal your hearts.

Condolence From: The Denlingers
Condolence: Mrs Arenz, was such a sweet and careing Lady. Always had such kind words to say about everyone and everything. Just Tuesday evening after supper some of the ladies, and Mary and myself sat around and talked for about 45 minutes. Talking about her time in Lacrosse, and old times of Dubuque and all the old stores down in the main street area that we all could remember. Time just seemed to get away, and before we new it, the cook was done with her work. And helping us with all the stores we all were trying to come up with. I will always think of her as that sweet and kind little lady that I met at Stonehill.
