Condolence: Linda, my deepest condolences on the passing of Bob. I was truly shocked at the news, especially since I didn't even know he was sick.
I first meet Bob in 1991 when I joined the Auxiliary Police. As an advisor, Bob was extremely helpful during my time as Chief and to the Auxiliary as a training officer too. I also worked with him at the local football games and other events in Dubuque while doing security. When he was an officer, Bob worked (and played) at the Mystique, so if he was there when I was working we always stopped and filled each other in on things that had happened since we last saw each other. I always enjoyed the visits we shared and will truly miss him.
Dubuque has lost a truly dedicated person in Bob's passing and we should all thrive to be as great and generous of a person in our own lives.

Condolence: LA,
I'm so sorry to hear about Bob's passing. We all go back so far, all the way to middle school and beyond. Bob was always such a great guy in high school, and I remember later when he joined the department. He had a remarkable career. I enjoyed seeing you both at class reunions.
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. God bless you.

Condolence: Linda, Phil, and Tara,
I Was so sad to hear of Bob's passing. I wish I could be at the service, but I will have to send condolences from afar. Bob was such a kind man and had such a big heart. I remember the last time I was in Dubuque we were able to visit. I am so grateful that we had that chance! I will never forget his laugh and how it always made me feel like I was home. He will live on in our memories. My thoughts are with you.
