Dear Angela, Donald, and Lowell and family, I was very saddened to hear of the passing of your father. I always admired his scholarship, religious conviction and his missionry work. I remember attending many of his services at the Presbyterian church. He and Pearl were wonderful and cultivated neighbors, I remember when the family moved to Dubuque, and what a special contribution they made in the community. I was in the same class as Donald.
